The New York Times published an interactive piece titled, "Postcards From A World On Fire" by the Editorial Board that provides visual postcards from around the world showing what climate change is all about - right now. 

It is references like these that remind me as to why I spend my time learning the what, the how, the issues, etc about climate change from people smarter than me so I can somehow contribute to addressing the needed changes.
